Our affiliate partners may receive limited data such as click identifiers to track referrals. This data does not include your name or contact details.

Data Breach Notification

In the event of a breach of security safeguards involving your personal information, we will:

  • Report the breach to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) if it creates a real risk of significant harm to any individual.
  • Notify affected individuals directly when such a risk exists, with information about what occurred and steps you can take to reduce your risk.
  • For Quebec residents, notify the Commission d'acces a l'information (CAI) as required under Law 25.
  • Maintain a record of all breaches of security safeguards, regardless of whether they meet the threshold for reporting.

Significant harm includes, but is not limited to, bodily harm, humiliation, damage to reputation, financial loss, identity theft, and negative effects on a credit record.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law. Account data is deleted upon request. Anonymised usage data may be retained for platform analytics.

Data Storage and Transfers

GrabOn Canada is operated by Inspire Labs, based in India. Your data may be stored or processed outside Canada. Where this occurs, we take steps to ensure your information receives a comparable level of protection, including contractual safeguards with third-party processors.

Quebec residents should note that personal information transferred outside Quebec is subject to a Privacy Impact Assessment as required under Law 25.

Children's Privacy

GrabOn Canada is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. For users in Quebec, the applicable age threshold is 14, in accordance with Law 25. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the revised date at the top of this page will reflect the change. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email prior to the change taking effect. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy for non-material changes.
